So, now some pictures of the Blocks, to illustrate how varied they can appear, both from the prime spot at the top of the harbour wall ladder, which gives the best view of its geometry, and from other less frequently favoured angles.

Then, maybe a lower tide, showing the rocks on which it was built – and the concrete blocks that predate the breakwater, hence its locally preferred name …
